Lessons

Private music lessons for saxophone and clarinet are available from Wayne Leechford. He teaches at his home studio in Raleigh and Burt Music in Cary. He also teaches applied lessons at North Carolina State University and Ravenscroft School. Drawing from his classical training, over 20 years of performing experience and over 10 years of teaching experience, he will design a lesson plan custom tailored to your needs. Rates are $40.00 per hour in Raleigh and $45.00 in Cary. Schedule is typically one 30-minute lesson per week for beginning and intermediate students and one 45-60 minute lesson per week for advanced students. Some study materials will be provided, but most lessons will be drawn from published sources. Students must provide their own instruments and equipment. Please read lesson policies.
