Once a year, I organize a studio recital that provides my students with an opportunity to perform before their families and peers. Participation is highly recommended, but not mandatory. The recital will be held on May 12, 2007 at Ruggero Piano in Raleigh. Bösendorfer Hall, a 150-seat performance space, is located inside the store.
The program for the recital this year is going to be a little different. All student performances will be duo, trio, or quartet. My student saxophone quartets will be featured. Any student not involved in one of my quartets can perform with me or another student in a duo performance. The non-refundable recital fee for anyone not involved in a quartet is $10 per student. A web page will be posted a couple weeks after the recital with pictures and mp3s of the performance. All recording devices and cameras are allowed during the performance.
